Structure of the program
As you can see in the figure below, the Masterstudiengang Digital Media Science program is made up of three semesters. The program is modular in design, and some choices are possible when it comes to the selection of classes within each module.
During the first semester, an emphasis is placed on foundational knowledge in Digital Media Science, Media Design and Business in Media. A course in "Scientific and Empirical Research Methods" will help students get acquainted with the kind of work and performance expected of them.
The second semester is made up of classes taken from the fields of Business (-applications), Design and Methodology, Technology & Computer Science and Research.
Six months of the Master's program are set aside for dissertation work.
